Join Stacy Broas of The Creative Fringe and learn how to cage cabochons or favorite stones in wire. Bring along your treasured beach finds, crystal nuggets, polished stones, or other small found objects and transform them into beautiful pieces of jewelry. You'll get plenty of technique practice as you create 3 cages.
No prior wire wrapping or jewelry making experience required, but you will need some hand strength and dexterity. Students will need to bring (or purchase from the studio) a 30-40mm round or 20x30mm-30x40mm oval cabochon, plus 2 additional items of similar size to cage. Wire for wrapping is provided.
All current classes are in-person at our Grand Haven, Michigan Studio. When purchasing online, please choose "Pick-up" as your shipping option.
Workshops and classes are for students 18 and up. Minors can register with prior approval from the instructor and parental consent.
Cancellation Policy for Studio JSD: Classes and workshops are refundable (minus a $5 processing fee) with a minimum 48 hours notice. Cancellations received later than 48 hours prior to class will not receive a refund. We will not issue a refund if you do not show to your class.
