This teen tailored Lapidary Class is an introduction to using the studio lapidary equipment to shape and polish your own stones. Students will be able to shape and polish at least one stone in this engaging 2 1/2 hour class. The studio will provide pre-forms so students will not be using the lapidary saw. This beginner's workshop is part of the studio's Teen Summer Workshops with Shoaleh Mansour. Makers must be between 14 and 18 years old to attend, with no adult necessary. A fun class to take with a friend!
Students are advised to wear closed-toe shoes in the Studio for safety. Bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty!
Class fee is $70.00, which includes all materials and supplies to make a polished stone and use of all necessary shop tools. Bundle all four classes in this summer series for $250.
All classes are in-person at our Grand Haven, Michigan Studio. When purchasing, please choose "Pick-up" as your shipping option.

Cancellation Policy: Classes and workshops are refundable (minus a $5 processing fee) with a minimum 48 hours notice. Cancellations received later than 48 hours will not receive a refund. We will not issue a refund if you do not show to your class.
