Fabrication classes are offered in 3 hour 5 week sessions or 2 full day Intensives. $225 includes all materials
Learn introductory metalsmithing and jewelry fabrication skills as you work your way through two sterling and copper projects. You will learn the basics of texturing metal, forming, making jump rings, assembly, sawing, piercing, drilling, filing, mechanical and hand finishing, rivets, clasps, bails and patina. Studio procedures and safety will be covered along with proper tool use and care. Fabrication 1 is a prerequisite to Fabrication 2. Students may want to bring a notebook for note taking. All tools and materials are provided. Studio attire includes sturdy, closed toe shoes and garments you don't mind getting dirty or an apron. Long hair should be tied back. We have safety glasses but you can bring your own. Bring reading glasses if you need them for close-up work.

Refunds for cancellations will be given, minus a $35 processing fee, if received one week prior to class. Missed class sessions cannot be made up at another time, but every effort will be made to catch you up on missed material during your next scheduled session, as time allows.
